What is deliberate practice?
The process of encoding information meaningfully through extended practice to improve the individual performance expertise through repetition and refinement (Ericsson Krampe, & Tesch-Romer, 1993).
What are the four key elements?
- Set specific goals and strategies.
- Concentrate on technique.
- Repeat the task (practice it).
- Immediate information feedback.
